Ben has worked in both Melbourne and London on cross-border M&A deals across a number of sectors including healthcare, tech and infrastructure. He regularly advises private equity houses and other financial sponsor clients on all types of leveraged M&A, co-investments, disposals, restructurings and portfolio company issues. Ben has been recognised as a Rising Star by The Legal 500 for high-value private equity transactions.

Ben has also undertaken a secondment to Centerbridge Partners as interim European General Counsel. Prior to joining Linklaters, Ben was an associate at a top tier Anglo-Australian law firm.

Education and qualifications

Ben holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (major in Economics) degrees from Monash University, Australia. Ben also holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (Australia).

Ben is admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia and England and Wales.
