Marly specialises in commercial and regulatory IT, outsourcing, data protection, media and broadcasting and telecoms. Marly’s broad practice experience as a specialist allows her to provide comprehensive, all-round advice on her transactions.

Work highlights

Marly’s experience includes advising:

  • Takeda: advising on the disposal of its global respiratory product portfolio to Astra Zeneca and its haemostasis product TachoSil to J&J.
  • Novartis: advising on its global asset swap with GSK and subsequent disposal of the flu vaccines business to CSL; and on its recent acquisition of Aspen Pharma in Japan.
  • Arqiva: advising on the carve out sale of its telecoms division (towers business) to Cellnex Telecom S.A. for £2bn. 
  • Nestlé: advising on the sale of its global skincare division, Galderma; and on its 50:50 joint venture with PAI to merge Nestlé's ice cream and frozen food business with R&R Ice Cream.
  • BP: advising on a range of deals including its US$1.5bn outsourcing of application development and application management services.
  • Accord: advising on their successful bid for Allergan Plc's former pharma generics business from Teva.
