Papua New Guinea Law: Year in Review 2018 and Year to Come 2019 summarises some of the major developments across Papua New Guinea last year, and a selection of key changes that we anticipate over the coming year. There are links to further reading, where available.

The APEC Summit, under the theme "Harnessing Inclusive Opportunities, Embracing the Digital Future" was held in PNG in November 2018 and highlights some of the key areas of focus across the country. Other areas of reform in 2018 include capital markets regulation and improving infrastructure through a Public Private Partnership Act encouraging the private sectors' interest in working with the Government to develop much-needed infrastructure.
