Linklaters has been named “Global Law Firm of the Year” at the GlobalCapital Global Derivatives Awards. The award was announced on 23 September 2020.

The awards honour the institutions and innovations that have had a positive impact on the global derivatives market. Each award is judged according to the nominees’ innovations in product and service commitments to new markets, improvements in efficiency, liquidity and market stability, as well as client guidance.

Regulatory changes and technological advances in recent years have allowed Linklaters’ derivatives practice to showcase its ability to provide innovative solutions for its clients and the industry as a whole.

The award is the latest in a trio of derivatives awards the firm has won in 2020. Linklaters was also named “Americas Law Firm of the Year” at GlobalCapital’s Americas Derivatives Awards and “Derivatives Law Firm of the Year” at the Asia Risk Awards earlier in the summer.
