Tracey advises on a wide range of corporate, corporate finance and commercial matters across various sectors but with a focus on the banking and financial services sectors. Her main areas of practice include public and private mergers and acquisitions, loan portfolio sales, corporate restructurings and joint ventures as well as equity capital market transactions.

- Cerberus European Investments LLC on its acquisition of General Electric’s £5bn French banking and consumer finance business, GE Money Bank
- Investec on the sale of its UK mortgage business Kensington Group plc, together with certain other mortgage assets, to funds managed by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Advisors LLC and TPG Special Situations Partners
- Absa Group on its US$2.1bn strategic combination with Barclays’ African operations
- Cerberus European Investments LLC on its acquisition of the shares and £13bn UK residential mortgage loan book of Northern Rock Asset Management PLC from UK Asset Resolution
- Cerberus European Investments LLC on its acquisition of Capital Home Loans (CHL), a UK mortgage loan platform, together with a £2bn portfolio of performing mortgage loans, from permanent TSB plc
- The Royal Bank of Scotland on its disposal of a £3.9bn portfolio of project finance loans to The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi
- Bank of Ireland on its disposal of various portfolios of project finance loans
- Citigroup on the US$7.7bn disposal of its German retail banking operations
- Rothesay Life, a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, in connection with the sale by Goldman Sachs of a majority stake in Rothesay Life to Blackstone, GIC and Massachusetts Mutual
