Charging infrastructure, batteries & gigafactories

Powering the EV lifecycle: Expert advice from mine to mile

As electric vehicle sales surge globally, the demand for charging infrastructure and battery-producing gigafactories will significantly increase in the coming decade. Gigafactories, along with the lithium-ion batteries they yield and the charging infrastructure needed in towns and cities across the globe to successfully facilitate their use, play a crucial role in the race to electrify the transport sector, with extensive rollouts planned across Europe, the US, and Asia.

Linklaters can advise on the structuring and execution of financing and investment opportunities expected to arise.   Linklaters stands out with a dedicated Mobility Sector team, providing expertise in navigating the charging infrastructure and battery markets. Our team advise on transactions and commercial opportunities throughout the entire EV lifecycle: from mineral sourcing and mining raw materials through to mineral processing and refining, gigafactories, EV manufacture, charging infrastructure and end-of-life recycling and trading.
