New employment measures to alleviate the effects of Covid-19: Royal Decree-law 18/2020 published

On 12 May the Spanish government announced further measures to protect jobs. These follow weeks of negotiations with unions, business associations and employers in the country and are aimed at allowing firms to adapt as necessary in the transition to a ‘new normality’, safeguarding jobs and protecting workers.
