China Amends Anti-Unfair Competition Law

On 4 November 2017, the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress (the “NPC”) adopted the amended Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People’s Republic of China (the “Amended AUCL”). The Amended AUCL will become effective on 1 January 2018.

It is comprised of five chapters regarding general principles, unfair competition behaviours, investigations, legal liabilities and supplementary matters.
